There are three main types of enclosures which are frameless, semi-frameless and framed. We offer sliding and swinging door enclosures as well. 

Frameless

The frameless option creates a sleek modern look while also helping make a small bathroom appear larger. Constructed with 3/8 inch to 1/2 inch tempered glass, the frameless enclosure gets its name as it lacks the rigid metal frame which surrounds the glass. The frameless enclosure still uses headers, u-channels and clips to keep it in place and safe. 

Semi-Frameless

The semi-frameless option has more metal around the edges, but minimal frame on the interior of the door or lining the top of the enclosure.  Constructed with 3/8 inch to 1/4 inch tempered glass, the semi-frameless enclosure is a great choice for homeowners that would love a modern feel but still prefer the look of a frame. 

Framed

The framed option has metal around the entirety of the enclosure. Framed showers are constructed with thinner glass such as 5/32 inch to 3/16 inch tempered. 

Sliding Door 

Sometimes also called a bypass door, sliding doors are installed using a track system. Sliding doors require track along the top and bottom of the door which slides using wheels or rollers. Sliding doors can be used with all enclosure options. 

Swinging Door

Generally opened outward while swinging on a fixed point. Available hinged or pivot, doors are attached to a stationary glass panel, wall, floor, ceiling or shower surround. Both door options can be designed to open outward or inward dependent on the bathroom layout and your personal preference.
