Each FA Series Sash Balances requires one of several types of nylon guides to be riveted onto the top and bottom of the channel. Customers can mount the guides using Cat. No. H3740 Rivet Set Tool (sold separately), which mushrooms the rivet, giving it a very strong set.
Window Channel Balance Repair Kit- This window channel balance repair kit is designed to be used with window channel balances. The top and bottom guides being replaced should match the dimensions and profiles of those pictured on this page to insure the proper replacement of the window channel balance. This kit, along with the window channel balance, gives you everything you need for the replacement.
This hard steel Rivet Installation Tool has a flared conical shaped head to properly flare sash balance guide rivets. It is used when replacing the rivets on the top and bottom guides of window channel balances.
